ISG Provider Lens™ positions ISH Tecnologia as leader in 3 categories in cybersecurity market study

ISH Tecnologia was elected market leader for the second year running, this time in 3 quadrants, by the ISG Provider Lens™ Cybersecurity 2021 - Solutions & Services for Brazil report.

The first category in which ISH was elected leader is Technical Security Services, which includes providers of integration, maintenance and support services for IT security solutions. The second is Managed Security Services, which comprises operations and management of IT security infrastructures (known as Managed Detection and Response - MDR) for one or several clients through a Security Operation Center - SOC. Services include security monitoring, behavior analysis, unauthorized access detection, firewall operations, among others.

What's new this year is that ISH has evolved to be considered a leader in a third category, Strategic Security Services. This category refers to companies capable of balancing technological resources with corporate governance, risks and compliance in services such as changes to business processes, user training, audit preparation and certification.

The explanation for the study's positive assessment, in the view of CEO Rodrigo Dessaune, is ISH's innovative approach to investing in research and new technologies to create modern data security solutions. "It is the recognition of a company with 100% national capital in the area of cybersecurity, demonstrated in an international study, which also considered multinational companies operating in Brazil," he says.

For Dessaune, this also shows that the Brazilian market is becoming a global benchmark in cyber security. "The top executives of companies in Brazil are increasingly involved in cyber security decisions. Concern about breaches and other vulnerabilities has grown," analyzes the ISH president. That's why he says ISH is transforming its offerings and adapting to respond to the dynamism of the market with the right solutions, fueling innovation in areas such as SOCaaS and cloud security. "We want to exceed market expectations," he says.

ISH forces

The ISG Provider Lens™ study pointed to ISH's strengths as robust technical capabilities. The company's experts include more than 200 engineers and analysts in the SOC with more than 500 certifications, including PMP, ITIL, CISSP and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) certification. Its integration structure includes the financing model, the implementation structure, security controls, tool integration and security governance.

The report also highlights the phased approach to large deployments created by ISH. This means that when carrying out major implementations in Brazil, deploying thousands of devices in as many branches, ISH needs to make complex logistics possible. Another challenge is that customers demand delivery in stages, as old technology is decommissioned. ISH has developed a robust methodology, matured over the years, to provide a secure delivery of SOCs, as well as guaranteeing the quality of the service.

Finally, the exclusive offer of security as a service. ISH's solutions are structured to enable the offering of Security as a Service - SECaaS. This exclusive offer allows customers to accelerate their digital transformation by reducing the need to invest in purchasing products.
